Guangzhou LangPro Translation Limited was founded in 1998 by Dr. Chen Dinggang, graduate of School of Interpreting & Translation Studies, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. It is a council member of the Translators Association of China (TAC), a standing council member of the Translators Association of Guangdong Province and a sponsor member of Japanese Chamber of Commerce. LangPro received SO 9001: 2000 Certification upon DAS review in 2005 and was awarded the title of “Model Tax-Payer in National and Local Tax” by the joint-decision of both Guangzhou National Taxation Bureau and Local Taxation Bureau. Since its beginning LangPro has been committed to the motto Speak with Quality, and adopted an academic approach to the translation services it provides. The clients include such world-renowned corporations as P&G, Pepsi, Toyota, Nissan, Honda and LG. In 2005 LangPro, commissioned by Yuexiu Group, completed its four-year translation project for the International Finance Center, a landmark skyscraper (a.k.a. The West Tower) of Guangzhou City.
