Donghua Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") was established in 1996 and is registered in the Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone, with its headquarters located in the ancient capital of Nanjing. After years of development, it has become the 224th largest company in China (2020).
Since its listing on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2008 (SZ.002221), the Company has closely followed the new global trends in the basic chemical industry, focusing on building an integrated platform for "production, education, and research," and is committed to creating a full industrial chain advantage "from light hydrocarbon resources and basic chemical raw materials to high polymer new materials products." Currently, the Company relies on three major industrial bases in Ningbo, Zhangjiagang, and Maoming, as well as domestic and international research institutions, and has successfully transformed into a high polymer material manufacturer "based on green chemistry, supported by international R&D, and guided by the new materials industry."
Using the Polyethylene E-commerce platform as a foundation, the Company employs a "plastic + digitalization" model to achieve online transactions, online payments, and online logistics, improving transaction efficiency and providing comprehensive tracking services for goods. This platform has also become a significant industrial internet platform in the plastic industry.
The Company strengthens its R&D platform and places high importance on scientific and technological development and innovation. In 2018, it established the Donghua Energy Research Institute and built the Donghua Energy Composite Materials Laboratory. It has more than 140 research and development devices, including high-temperature gel permeation chromatography, infrared analyzers, gas-liquid chromatographs, X-ray spectrometers, and capillary rheometers, along with a 3,000-square-meter testing laboratory. The Company has successfully developed various product grades such as special materials for high-melt fiber, special materials for thin-walled injection molding, random transparent polypropylene, and low-melt impact copolypropylene, achieving comprehensive coverage of mainstream polypropylene product grades.
