Job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities: 1.Financial Record Keeping: • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial days-to-day records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. • Ensure proper documentation and coding of financial transactions. • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts. 2.Financial Reporting Support: • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations. • Manage & coordinate reporting with Shenzhen factory financial team. • Compile financial data and perform preliminary analysis to support decision-making. • Assist with the preparation of regulatory filings and compliance documentation. 3.Accounts Payable and Receivable: • Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing. • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments. • Maintain accurate records of vendor and customer accounts. 4.Financial Analysis: • Support financial analysis projects, including profitability analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and financial modelling. • Gather data and conduct research to support financial decision-making. 5.Compliance Assistance: • Assist in ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies. • Participate in internal and external audits, providing documentation and support as needed. • Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal control procedures. 6.Administrative Tasks: • Perform general administrative tasks as needed to support the accounting & finance department (HR, payroll, MPF declaration, petty cash...), and the office (purchase consumable, telephone calls…). • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
Job requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. • Significant years of experience in accounting and / or finance roles, preferably in a medium size company with China PRC manufacturing unit and overseas relations. • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial concepts. • Understanding of China PRC double accounting and finance system. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications (MYOB preferred but others can be considered). • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a team environment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • English, Cantonese and Mandarin spoken and written is a must.
