Job responsibilities
Implement ISCA’s internationalisation strategy to acquire membership and support member growth and development in markets outside of Singapore, through: Research Market analysis and research: 1. conduct thorough market research to gather data on the competitive landscape, addressable market, etc, through a mix of methods such as environmental scans, and desktop research 2. analyse the collected data to identify opportunities, gaps, and potential challenges within the market 3. organise and present findings to management in order to refine the strategy and tactical approach that supports ISCA’s internationalisation objectives in the chosen market Customer and competitor insights 1. monitor and analyse competitors’ offerings, pricing, sales strategies, and market positioning. Assess their strengths and weaknesses to determine competitive advantages and unique selling points for ISCA’s products Lead Generation and Conversion Lead generation and prospecting 1. develop and implement strategies to attract new leads, including cold calling, emailing, networking, as well as co/organizing events with in-market partners to also profile the ISCA brand and products 2. identify and research potential clients through various channels including online databases, industry events, social media, and referrals 3. maintain and update the shared system with accurate and current information on prospects and leads Sales presentations and relationship-building 1. conduct needs assessments to understand the specific training requirements of potential clients and tailor presentations accordingly deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value and benefits of the training programs Lead conversion 1. negotiate terms and close sales deals with clients, ensuring that all contractual agreements are met and understood by both parties 2. follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and explore opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional training programs 3. meet and exceed sales targets and quotas, regularly reporting on sales activities, pipeline status, and conversion rates to management
Job requirements
1. Chartered Accountant or a degree in a business-related field will be an advantage, although not necessary 2. Diploma holders with strong experience will also be considered 3. At least 5 years of experience in business development 4. Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets 5. Management and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with overseas partners at all levels. 6. Excellent research, analytical, writing, and presentation skills 7. Independent worker with the ability to also collaborate effectively as part of a team 8. Positive mindset, unfailing resilience, and ability to learn quickly, to counter customer rejections and evolve new methods to generate and close leads
