Job Overview: The COO for Ambright's Aptitude Scholastic Test (AST) will oversee the operations and ensure the smooth delivery, implementation, and growth of the AST. The COO will work closely with the executive team to develop strategic initiatives that align with the organisation’s mission and drive operational excellence. This role requires a high level of expertise in educational assessments, management, and operational scaling. Key Responsibilities: 1、Lead the daily operations of the AST division, ensuring efficiency and adherence to organisational goals. 2、Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the long-term objectives of AST. 3、Oversee the execution of the test’s delivery, including scheduling, distribution, and monitoring. 4、Ensure high standards of quality control and compliance with educational assessment regulations. 5、Collaborate with the executive team to shape the vision and long-term strategy for the AST. 6、Analyse industry trends, identify growth opportunities, and implement initiatives to improve the competitive position of the AST. 7、Lead discussions and negotiations to establish partnerships that enhance the visibility and recognition of AST globally. 8、Act as a key representative for the AST in high-level meetings and conferences. 9、Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation. 10、Ensure that the test adheres to all relevant educational, legal, and ethical standards. 11、Develop risk management strategies to mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks.
Job Requirements
Position Requirements: 1, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Education or related field (MBA or Ed.D. preferred). 2、Senior management or operational roles with extensive experience (10+ years) in the education or assessment industry. 3、In-depth knowledge of educational testing systems, regulations and best practices. 4、Ability to manage large teams and complex projects across multiple regions. 5、Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills. 6、Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment. 7、Experience in working with domestic and international academic institutions. 8、Familiar with educational testing frameworks and quality assurance processes. 9、Possess cross-cultural communication and global business acumen. 10、Must be a person from an international test bureau. 11, must be familiar with the work module and process design of the International Examination Bureau, familiar with the content and process of the admission assessment and standardized entrance examination of foreign universities, such as IB, IGCSE, AP, SAT, A-Level exams, etc. Pure management personnel are not required, because the candidate's business experience should be used to guide the work module and process design of the AST department, exam questions and other work. 12. Must be able to come to Shanghai to work.
