This role will be a great joy only to those who love interacting with students and are willing to work with teenage personalities.This position will allow you to work with an international team to coordinate the efforts and cultural understanding of students across different countries and of professors from leading American colleges and universities.Key Responsibilities: Work with American professors and students around the world to construct class schedules for all research meeting sessions Coordinate with professors and student participants in every phase of the academic programs to ensure smooth execution Provide technical and academic support and training to the student participants throughout the program Engage in regular communications with professors and student participants to build and maintain relationships with them and ensure their enthusiasm for the programs Tracking student progress, including identifying behavioral and academic issues during sessions, reviewing the professors’ feedback on students, and periodically sending “check-in” messages to students Tracking professors’ progress, including ensuring that professors are completing the feedback forms, have posted the syllabi on time, and responding to student questions Conduct student application interviews and report results Proactively mentor and support students through challenging academic endeavors Review the recordings for all sessions in which the program coordinator is not present Monitor the Pioneer learning management system on a daily basis and quickly respond to inquiries or issues. Monitor the program progress, identify and propose resolutions to potential issues, and coordinate the implementation of those solutions Be present in the weekly program management meetings to discuss issues and progress of students
Job requirements
Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher Student-centric mindset and passion for outstanding education experience Minimum 2 years of work experience Strong interpersonal skills as well as written and oral communication skills Highly self-motivated and directed with ability to work independently as well as coordinating and supporting a team Well-organized, detailed-minded, and service-oriented with a demonstrated commitment to follow through Excellent time management skills with willingness to take initiative Excellent command of English Willingness to coordinate with professors and students across time zones which may require work during non-regular business hours
