Job responsibilities
Exploration of New IPs: Assist the team in researching and identifying artists as potential POP MART-owned or exclusive IPs. Research and Analysis: Conduct research on potential partners for collaborations, initiate conversations for possible partnerships, and maintain an updated list of opportunities for internal use. Product Development: Monitor market trends in pop culture and merchandise to identify opportunities that align with our merchandising goals. Visual Communication: Collaborate with internal teams at our HQ to develop presentations and materials that effectively showcase IPs and communicate licensing opportunities. This includes working on pitch decks and mock-ups to support outbound efforts. Contract Management: Manage key aspects of contract terms for licensing, track key dates, ensure accurate royalty reporting, and oversee marketing budget calendars.
Job requirements
3-5 years experience in licensing, merchandising, or a related field, preferably within the entertainment or toy industry. Strong organizational and project management skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Powerpoint. Familiarity with contract management and royalty reporting processes. NetSuite experience a plus Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge and interest in genre character-based artists and the new contemporary art market
