Southlands School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Life & Nature Science Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biological sciences, ecology, and environmental science, with a commitment to fostering a deep appreciation for nature and scientific inquiry among students.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement engaging and innovative lesson plans that align with state and national science standards. Instruct students in various topics related to life sciences, including but not limited to biology, ecology, botany, and environmental science. Utilize a variety of teaching methods and technologies to enhance student learning and participation. Conduct laboratory experiments and outdoor activities to provide hands-on learning experiences. Evaluate and assess student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and curiosity. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-disciplinary curricula and participate in professional development opportunities. Organize and participate in field trips and school events that promote environmental awareness and conservation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Valid teaching certification or license in [State/Region].
