Job responsibilities
- Teaching Plan and Curriculum Design: Develop and implement teaching plans for Japanese language courses, designing appropriate course content and teaching methods based on students' needs and levels.
- Classroom teaching: Teach Japanese in the classroom, including training in all aspects of phonetics, grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading and writing. Use a variety of teaching methods and tools, such as lectures, demonstrations, and interactive exercises, to stimulate students' interest and motivation.
- Evaluation and Feedback: Regularly evaluate students' Japanese language level and learning progress, provide timely feedback and guidance, and help students solve problems and difficulties in learning.
- Selection and development of teaching materials: Select appropriate teaching materials according to teaching needs, or independently develop teaching materials and teaching resources suitable for students.
- Cultural exchange: Introduce Japanese culture, history and society, help students understand Japanese language and cultural background, and improve cross-cultural communication skills.
- Academic research: Participate in academic activities of Japanese language teaching and research, understand the latest teaching theories and methods, and continuously improve their teaching level and professionalism.
Job requirements
- Educational background: A bachelor's degree or higher in Japanese language. Some schools or organizations may also require candidates to have specific teaching credentials, such as a high school Japanese language teaching certificate.
- Language Skills: Fluent spoken and written Japanese and the ability to explain Japanese grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, etc. accurately and clearly. A certain level of English proficiency is also required in order to communicate with international students or other teachers.
- Teaching skills: Knowledge of effective teaching methods and techniques, and the ability to design individualized teaching plans based on students' needs and levels. Classroom management skills are also required to maintain order in the classroom and to stimulate students' interest and motivation.
- Cultural literacy: Knowledge of Japanese culture, history, and society, and the ability to incorporate this knowledge into teaching to help students better understand and apply the Japanese language.
- Teamwork and communication skills: the need to communicate and cooperate effectively with other teachers, school administrators, students' parents, etc., in order to promote students' Japanese language learning and personal development.
