Job responsibilities
Major Responsibilities Include but not limited to:1.Be an excellent kids’ teacher, have excellent rapport with children, and be passionate about teaching children of all ages. 2.Manage the overall instructional operations in the Zhangjiang Kids Learning Center. 3.Become an expert in delivering the Berlitz Kids Initial Training and train all new kids’ instructors for the East China district according to global corporate standards. 4.Coach and mentor new and developing instructors to improve their confidence and skills in the Berlitz Kids Method and Learning Cycle according to global corporate standards through the Instructional Development Plans and Lesson Observations. 5.Support the current instructional staff in the completion of all their duties, both administrative and instructional, in order for them to successfully deliver great quality kids classes. 6.Teach 100 units a month and accept to pick up lessons if other instructors are unable to cover these lessons, in order to avoid cancellations and customer inconvenience. 7.Offer excellent customer service by ensuring all students meet their set goals as well as have good, constant communication with parents to inform them of their children’s learning progress. 8.Evaluate students’ proficiency levels during assessment and interview procedures. Conduct demonstration lessons as required for sales. 9.Work with sales staff to anticipate future staffing needs. 10.Train and continually develop sales staff in product knowledge and Berlitz Method.11.Support Senior LMI for initiatives regarding instruction and business development.1 2.Implement and maintain the Berlitz Teaching Cycles and Learning Cycle. Check ped cards weekly in order to ensure that structures are maintained and keep all related documentation and evidence of the compliance for regular audits. Report results through a monthly report and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and set SMART goals for the LC.1 3.Write and oversee student report completion on a timely basis using global corporate standards.1 4.Provide a professional and supportive work environment.1 5.Work closely with LC staff to assist in developing and customizing curricula in accordance with local market requirements.1 6.Oversee and supervise the daily completion of the instructor schedules in cooperation with the scheduler.1 7.Other tasks that might be assigned by LCD or East China District Director or Country Manager.
Job requirements
Be under 55 years old, have completed a Bachelor’s Degree, hold a passport from a native English speaking country (Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, UK and USA), have completed a TEFL certificate with at least 3 years working experience.
