Job responsibilities
- Teaching Yoga Classes: Conducting yoga classes for groups or individuals, guiding students through various yoga poses and breathing exercises. - Demonstrating Yoga Poses: Demonstrating correct posture and alignment for yoga poses, providing corrections and adjustments as needed to ensure students' safety and effectiveness. - Creating Lesson Plans: Preparing lesson plans that are appropriate for different levels of students, including beginners, intermediate, and advanced practitioners. - Providing Feedback and Guidance: Giving students feedback on their performance, offering encouragement and motivation, and providing guidance on how to improve their yoga practice. - Maintaining a Safe Environment: Ensuring the safety of students by checking equipment, adjusting room temperature, and providing modifications for those with injuries or special needs. - Promoting Yoga Benefits: Educating students on the benefits of yoga, including physical health, mental well-being, and stress reduction. - Developing and Implementing Curriculums: Designing and implementing yoga curriculums that align with the institution's or studio's goals and values. - Marketing and Promoting Classes: Assisting with marketing and promoting yoga classes and events, attracting new students and maintaining a loyal client base. - Maintaining Professional Development: Staying updated on the latest yoga trends, techniques, and research to continue growing as a professional. - Handling Administrative Tasks: Managing class schedules, maintaining student records, and handling any administrative tasks related to teaching yoga.
Job requirements
