China's General Administration of Customs has recently issued an announcement that according to the relevant provisions of the Law of the People's Republic of China on State Border Health and Quarantine and its implementing rules, the General Administration of Customs has decided that from 00:00 on November 1, 2023, the entry and exit personnel shall be exempted from filling in the "People's Republic of China Departure/Entry Health Affidavit Card," except that the personnel who have symptoms of infectious diseases, such as fever, coughing, respiratory difficulties, vomiting, diarrhea, skin rash, unexplained subcutaneous hemorrhage, etc. or Those who have been diagnosed with infectious diseases must take the initiative to make health declaration to the Customs and cooperate with the Customs to do the health quarantine work such as temperature testing, epidemiological investigation, medical exclusion, sampling and testing.
Any person who conceals or avoids quarantine will bear the corresponding legal responsibility; if he/she causes the spread of quarantine infectious disease or has serious danger of spreading, he/she will bear the corresponding criminal responsibility.
