I am the Field Service Manager responsible for Turkey Operations of Global Tote (A BetMakers Company) headquartered in New South Wales, Australia. (Company decided to close its offices in the country in Feb 24) Responsibilities: · I was leading the Turkey Local offices (Ankara,Adana,İzmir,İstanbul) with 7 direct reports, and we were responding to all client queries and troubleshooting requests, where we also carry out repair and maintenance activities of betting machines. · Additionally, I was responsible for the country-wide operations; human resources, financial reporting, procurement, and other internal/external activities. · I was also the company representative responsible for all operational issues across Turkey. · The local office operations were repairment of electronic cards and carry out maintenance on the windows embedded terminal machines. · I have done repairments on mainboards: specifically, industrial mainboards. This involves using a large range of analyzers for repairing the boards, for example using oscilloscope and reference-based fault locator. · I have done chip programming and maintenance and repairs on the 3 different types of client terminals (these are like slots machines). I did embed pre-written programs to their digital boards. I was the “go-to” person for all IT related issues or needs for the company across Turkey. I carry out a lot of remote computer-based troubleshooting to help colleagues with their issues. Key subject matter areas: · Unix and Linux · Autotote software (for tote system) · Terminal machines with embedded windows, · Maintaining older machines which works without an OS, connects over RS232, to the toting system. · Remote assistance tools such as Ammyy, Any Desk, and Tight VNC. · All versions of Windows and MS Office software. Google based software such as Google Workplace, Google Cloud storage. Key achievements: · Setup the local office in Adana from scratch; built the network, networking cables, wireless access points, UPS, installed electric plugs, setup the desks, computers, etc. · Started Ball Grid Array chip replacement operations via BGA rework station in the office. It doubles the mainboard repair success rate. · Training the new employee to increase productivity and maintainability. · Developed an inventory tracking system (VBA)

I was the IT helpdesk and IT operations support technician responsible for all kinds of IT related business at the Racetrack Facilities. T.J.K is a foundation that supports horse breeders through horse racing activities, including a horse hospital at the track and administrative offices. Responsibilities: · I was responsible for supporting more than 100 computers, devices, the network, back-ups systems, security cameras, Microsoft Office 2010, Windows Server 2013 for DNS, and file-sharing server. · I installed the network cabling for new terminals and carried out the troubleshooting. · I provided remote support for more than 400 Off-Track Betting (OTB) Operators. I installed and repaired fingerprint devices for the clocking employee’s ins and outs. Key achievements: · The facility is spread across more than 6000 square meters comprised of the main office, smaller offices, and horse hospital. I enable connectivity across such a large facility I set up Wi-Fi devices via UBNT bridges to connect remote sites to the main office. I set up Linksys VOIP to connect all phones to the central phone systems in the main office. · I have installed an automatic backup system on the 100 PCs to ensure data is backed up to the main NAS. Before setting up the NAS, all backups were done manually. · I have trained the subcontracted company employees to do on-site repairs on OTB terminals. · I have installed some extra connectivity options on betting terminals in facility grounds. · I have installed a new Odd Charts Monitor system on local OTB shops. · I have installed surveillance systems on critical areas in the facility. · I have installed G.HDSL modems configured as back-to-back bridges to connect longer distances via phone cables in the facility.
