Job responsibilities
Note that this position is based in Beijing. No relocation compensation is offered for applicants outside of Beijing. The Client Service team is responsible for: - Selling our services to existing accounts - Selling our services to new accounts - Recruiting and onboarding translators and interpreters - It is composed of an APAC and a Global team. We are recruiting Associates for both teams, which have identical responsibilities and career tracks, but different working hours and compensation levels. As an Associate on the team, you will: - liaise daily with clients to take their requests and match them with the right personnel strengthen client relationships with proactive engagement - work with our marketing team to create targeted marketing messages for your clients An example of a workflow that you'll follow on a day-to-day basis may require you to respond to a client's emailed request for a phone call requiring an interpreter, load the request in our Salesforce instance, reach out to prospective interpreters, and connect the client and the interpreter when there is a satisfactory match. The role requires periodic business travel based on your territory. Working hours for the APAC team are 9am - 4pm, with an expectation for 30m - 2h of checking in from home each night. Working hours for the Global team are either 3pm - midnight (for Europe-centric territories) or 10pm - 7am (for Americas-centric territories). A daily meal & transportation allowance is provided for the Global team to offset the atypical working hours. Our office is in WeWork Guanghua Lu, where you'll have unlimited coffee and Jing A beer, and frequent team outings.
Job requirements
- You must have strong research skills, especially the ability to identify key concepts and companies of a variety of industries with the ability to match such concepts with the professional background of our linguist community - You must be highly detail-oriented and have a strong problem-solving ability - You must have good English comprehension. Other foreign languages is a plus. - You must have strong interpersonal communication skills, the ability to multi-task and be able to work effectively under pressure with competing priorities - Prior work experience with Salesforce or comparable CRMs is a huge plus
