Job responsibilities
• Prepare a wide variety of French dishes according to the restaurant's menu, following traditional and modern recipes to ensure high - quality food.
• Collaborate with the sous - chef and other kitchen staff to coordinate the preparation of different dishes for each table's order, maintaining an efficient workflow.
• Keep the kitchen workspace clean and organized during and after cooking, following strict hygiene and safety regulations.
Job requirements
• Familiarity with different types of ingredients used in French cuisine and their seasonality.
• Ability to work in a fast - paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
• A good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, holding relevant certificates if possible.
• Team - player spirit, with good communication skills to work effectively with colleagues in the kitchen.
