Job responsibilities
Our client company is looking for an HR Advisor to oversee the human resources administrative procedures. Graduate recruitment • Develop the graduate recruitment program in conjunction with the graduate recruitment team • Manage the application pipeline and the recruitment process for the graduate program, including but not limited to job posting, CV screening, interview arrangement, and offer extension • Act as the go-to person for candidates to provide application advice • Plan and design strategy to promote the graduate program • Build relationships and liaise with local universities for arranging on-campus/virtual recruitment events • Coordinate with an external branding agency to develop marketing campaign on social media such as WeChat • Work with partners to make graduate offers and provide advice where necessary • Assist in the qualification process and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements • Manage graduate recruitment budget and assist in the budgeting process HR Operations • Management of regulatory processes and administrative processes necessary to ensure the lawyers and employees have the right to practice and work in the office, including but not limited to assistance in obtaining and renewing practicing certificates for lawyers, applying for good standing certificates for lawyers, liaising with Ministry of Justice to ensure staffs are complying with their most updated regulatory. • Coordinate the on-boarding process and arrange induction sessions for new joiners • Ensure all the new joiners are enrolled in relevant benefits schemes • Keeping adequate staffs record including but not limited to personal data, annual leave, etc. • Update personal data on HR system (HR.net)/ spreadsheet. • Maintain both physical and electronic filing of HR documents and accuracy of HR system data • Manage leaver administration process including exit interviews • Work with the HRM on talent assessment, the salary review process, and bonus awards • Provide staff with general HR policy advice • Regularly catch up with employees in the offices to act as a bridge between employees and management, escalating concerns as necessary, and providing support to employees • Support mobility/transfer cases • Provide support and work closely with internal D&I committees and networks to build and maintain employee engagement concerning diversity • Support Head of HR, HR Managers and Senior HR Advisors with cyclical events and HR projects (as required) • Find ways to continually improve our processes • Support Recruiting team with the recruitment of lawyers and business services staff
Job requirements
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources/related discipline or equivalent experience • 3-5 years' HR experience, preferably with graduate recruitment experience within a legal or professional services firm • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Comfortable operating autonomously on an agreed plan • Confident interacting with people at all levels of the organization • Experience in managing multiple stakeholders • Networks and builds positive and genuine working relationships internally and externally • Strong client services focus, whilst maintaining the confidentiality • Strong team ethic, able to work collaboratively in a team • Effective planning, scheduling, prioritization and time management skills
