Job responsibilities
- The fundamental responsibility of the Principal is to ensure a perfect blend of the best of China and the world by implementing a pioneering, child-centered, bilingual curriculum that will be taught by a team of expatriate and Chinese teachers.
- Prior to taking up the position, the appointee will receive comprehensive social, academic and cultural orientation, which is essential for the successful fulfillment of this important role.
- This is a large and well-established educational organization in Beijing. They operate schools and kindergartens with an excellent reputation. The successful candidate will have full responsibility for the campus. He or she will have considerable freedom in implementing the curriculum, which is broadly based on the basic principles of the organization. The Head of School will work closely with the school's Chinese Language Officer, who will be responsible for government relations as well as the management of the school building and facilities.
Job Requirements
1. Hold a qualification certificate for early childhood education or preschool education;
2. At least 8 years of experience in early childhood education;
3. Strong leadership skills; Priority will be given to those who have demonstrated effective school leadership skills.
4. Experience in developing future oriented courses, including personalized learning and exploratory games.
5. Experience and/or commitment in collaborating on the development and implementation of bilingual courses for early learners;
6. Strongly hope to lead a school, integrate the essence of local and international education principles and practices, and create a better school than both;
7. Strongly hope to collaborate with local and international teachers, participate in and promote the establishment of collaborative teams;
8. Hope to cooperate with local students and parents;
9. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
