Job responsibilities
Job Description. The Media Art and Design programme is seeking professionals in the following areas: interactive design, 3D design, digital imaging and design, 2D and 3D animation, and interactive media. Candidates should also be qualified to teach art and design theory courses. In addition to creative practice and academic research, the candidate will be responsible for supervising, facilitating field trips, tutoring and caring for students, and academic outreach. Benefits and terms of appointment The position will initially be on a two-year fixed-term contract. The starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. Fringe benefits include housing allowance, holidays and social security. Renewal after the initial term is subject to mutual agreement. Job requirements
Job Requirements: Candidates should have a PhD or a Master's degree in design or fine arts. Candidates should have a PhD or a Master's degree in design or fine art, and at least five years of extensive experience in a related discipline. Candidates should have an understanding of academic theory and practice in relevant art and design disciplines. Good oral and written communication skills in English and/or Chinese are required. A strong research background is preferred. Candidates should be co-operative, patient and enthusiastic, as well as able to work under pressure and have good problem-solving skills.
