Position Brief:● Industry: Education (Academic Extracurricular Programs)● Location: Beijing, China● Job type: Full time● Department: Outreach● Required experience: Minimum 5 yearsPosition Description:Pioneer Academics seeks a staff member with experience in school admissions or education related academic network development. We welcome those with an experience working with students and families with innovative mindset and an entrepreneurial approach to education. This position’s core responsibility is recruiting high caliber students through engaging with students and families through presentations, events, and follow-up conversations in China and the possibility of a number of foreign countries. Key Responsibilities: ● Increase Pioneer programs’ selectivity and reputation among the highest caliber high school students● Present to, interact with and guide students and parents in person, online or through other media● Research and assess caliber of institutions and organizations● Help students and parents at all stages in the application process understand Pioneer’s creative, unique, and challenging educational programs● Provide comprehensive support to students throughout the program● Work cross functionally to improve processes and student experience ● Prepare regional travel itineraries
Job requirements
Essential Qualifications:● Graduate of a prominent American university with a bachelor’s degree or higher● Student-centric mindset and passion for outstanding education experiences● Two to five years of business development (Outreach) work experience in education, preferably in higher education or secondary education, creating and developing relationships with US contacts at various levels● Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills for working with students, faculty and educational administrators ● Highly self-motivated and directed with ability to work independently as well as coordinating and supporting a team● Enthusiasm to collaborate with our academic team to identify opportunities to improve student learning experience and to assist other team members in their work● Willingness to work during non-regular hours with the international team● Willing to travel frequently within the US and sometimes internationallyDesirable Criteria:● Strong interest in education, innovation, and learning● Interest in working with and helping ambitious high school students from around the worldWe suggest all serious candidates visit our website at www.pioneeracademics.com to learn about the organization.
