Job responsibilities
In charge of business development of designated area in Europe such as France, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, Spain and other European countries. Introduce and promote our products to local buyers and retailer stores. Work with Chinese factory team for order fulfillment, product design and other PO-related matters. Our products are mirrors, photo frames, canvas printings, framed art and other home decor products. Previous experience in Home Decoration area is preferred.
Job requirements
1.Work experience At least 3 years of working experience in a sales position in a importing or exporting company or as a buyer/merchandiser for retailers of home decoration products. Fully understand the home decoration retail business and procurement process. Have been working with Chinese companies is a plus.Work with designers on product development is also preferred. 2. Professional knowledge (1) Product knowledge: Understand wall art, mirrors and photo frames products well. Have a comprehensive knowledge of the comparative advantages of products and competitors. (2) International trade knowledge: Master international trade process and is familiar with relative actions, and also have the ability to manage goods custom clearance. Able to quickly quote, push and finalize an order; Estimate the risk level of a PO and provide solutions. Understand international business very well; And is able to properly handle daily matters and emergencies. 3. Working skills (1) Foreign language: For sales manager in the European market, should be able to speak at least 2 languages. For example, English, French and German etc.. English should be the major language of communication. (2) Market development: Be able to deeply analyse market, and quickly locate target customers and market demands. (3) Implementation capacity: Having the ability to achieve sales goals. Be able to implement various programs and plans well and achieve the established targets. Good strategy thinking. (4) Information study: Having strong sensitivity to the market and trend. Is able to collect and analyse information and provide suggestions. 4.Personal capacities (1) Interpersonal understanding: Be able to put oneself in the perspective of others to understand reasons behind their thoughts and behavior. (2) Customer-orientated: Keeping good relationship with customers.Understand customers’ problems, requirements and dissatisfaction. Discover customers’ potential needs and offer suggestions to meet customers' interests. (3) Achievement motivation: Goal oriented. Set challenging goals and strive to work better in order to achieve the goals, and make every effort to reach a certain standard of excellency. (4) Integrity: Able to evaluate affairs honestly ,fairly and objectively. Still insist on principle of integrity when there is a conflict with between, or under external pressure. (5) Teamwork: Willing to know and acquire how to cooperate with others. Have cooperated or worked with designers. Able to find effective ways of enagege in multinational team cooperation actively. (6) Learning ability: Open to learn and seek solutions when faced with problems positively at work. Able to implement new knowledge and technologies with practical work on the basis of in-depth understanding, and apply them to work. Able to understand how to learn from past experience. (7) Other capacities: Ability of self-control, organization and sense of responsibility. Experience and set-up to work from home. 5. Ability to build and manage a team: Be able to motivate team members to achieve goals and guide them to improve their sales skills.
