Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented US Trade Policy Analyst to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of international trade regulations, and the ability to translate complex trade policy issues into actionable insights. This role will play a key role in researching, analyzing, and making recommendations on U.S. and global trade policy . Primary Responsibilities:  Conduct in-depth research and analysis on U.S. and Global trade policy .  Trade policies, agreements, and regulations affecting various industries.  Monitors and evaluates global trade trends, economic developments, and geopolitical factors affecting U.S.trade relations with various countries.  Prepare detailed reports, policy briefs, and presentations summarizing research findings, policy analysis, and recommendations for internal stakeholders and external audiences.  Interact with government officials, industry associations, and international organizations to gather information, build relationships, and advocate for policy priorities.  Provide analytical support during trade negotiations, including conducting economic impact assessments and evaluating proposed trade agreements.  Stay informed about legislative developments, regulatory changes, and emerging issues related to U.S. and global trade policies .  Trade policy, and assess their impact on other stakeholders together.  Contribute to thought leadership initiatives by participating in conferences, seminars, and industry forums on international trade and economic policy.
Job requirements
Qualifications:  Bachelor's degree in international relations, economics, political science, or related field.  Master's degree preferred.  At least 3 years plus of experience in policy analysis, international trade, or government relations, with a focus on U.S. trade policy preferred.  Strong analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative analysis and economic modeling.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distill complex information into clear and compelling reports and presentations.  Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple projects and deadlines.  Knowledge of trade agreements, WTO principles and international trade law.  Proficient in the MS Office suite, with advanced skills in Excel and data visualization tools.
