Job Desk & Responsibilities of Field Application Engineer 1. Work closely with Sales to understand customer or potential customer needs and propose tailored the security & cloud virtualization solution based on it requirement. 2. Conduct product demos, POCs, technical presentations, and product training for customers, distributors, and partners remotely or onsite. 3. Designing secure, high available, scalable architectures and provide technical guidance on based best practices. 4. Install, configure (Deploy), and troubleshoot, run POC Scenario test devices such as Network Firewalls, IAM, XDR/NDR/EDR, SASE, SaaS and Server Virtualization (HCI) that deployed in customer/partner sites. Work closely with 2nd Level TAC Team or Product Specialist Team (R&D) to escalate cases that occur if necessary. 5. Conduct the self lab testing for POC demo, troubleshoot, and pre- implementation to ensure that the solutions offered work optimally. 6. Conduct sites survey and meeting with the customer & partner for POC Scenario Plan, Implementation Plan, Maintenance Plan. 7. Create installation document such as Project Timeline, High Level Design (HLD), Low Level Design (LLD), Method of Procedure (MOP), Test Scenario Result, As Built Drawing, Root Cause Analysist (RCA) if needed. 8. Collaborate closely with Sangfor Global Team, Partner, Distributor to have an optimal solution that is offered according to the customer requirement. 9. Create report of Project Objective, Project Progress, Gaps, and Improvement Plan for KPI and self evaluation. 10. Conduct the Technical Monthly Exam to ensure self capability & self improvement.
