Role as Manufacturing Integrator (MI) & Team lead for Manufacturing System Engineer. From 2023 till current date, my roles have expanded to become Module Engineering Manager (also known as Technical Lead for Technical Support Group) with 8 module engineers reporting directly to me and respective manufacturing supervisors/Shift managers/manufacturing system engineers will calibrate with me in term of resources planning & LEAN/Technical improvement to meet factory goals. Work Tasks & Projects: · Led the successful upgrade and optimization of Tray to Tape tool operations, collaborating with manufacturing and engineering teams to enhance efficiency and production quality, while ensuring project alignment with organizational goals. · Directed High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) projects for the installation plan of hardware and tools, facilitating the launch of new products like Tiger Lake, Alder Lake, Sapphire Rapids, and Raptor Lake into mass production. · Presided over Task Force and Working Group meetings to address process anomalies and optimize machine utilization throughout HVM and ongoing operations. Successfully led the manufacturing team to surpass targets by sorting 22,000 wafers weekly, leveraging strategic conversion plans, product prioritization, and engineering insights, despite resource constraints. · Achieved significant electrical cost savings by optimizing operational activity and reducing its variability. Highest achievement of cost savings is USD 1.2 million dollars. · Establish a pool of technician from manufacturing which have the similar technical knowledge as module engineers. This is to nurture self-sustain practices within manufacturing team itself with least guidance from shift engineers. · Integrating with manufacturing team to adopt cost savings practise by reusing probes and hence improving the repairing’s Throughput Time. · Employed Six Sigma analytical techniques to investigate Out of Control (OOC) and Bin failures in mass loading products, leading targeted improvement projects through reducing variation and its defects. Key owner in leading the project to reduce Thermal Testing’s variation and mechanical force during sorting & testing operation. · Certified as Intel KMDSDP’s LEAN practitioner and coach, such as A3 reporting, Rapid Integrated LEAN concept, Direct Observation/Value-Stream Mapping and DOE plan. · Key facilitators to transfer Meteor Lake AI products from Oregon’s Technical Development Team.
