Hiring Art/ Visual Art Teacher in ASAP or August 2024 1. Responsible for teaching Pre-A and A Level Art classes. 2. Ensure students achieve learning outcomes that are above average in the subject of Art. and Design by instructing students in a clear, concise and stimulating way. 3. Manage students’ behaviour in the Art and Design classroom. 4. Maintain a creative and stimulating learning environment in the Art classroom. 5. Conduct individualised teaching, as required, to help students improve their performance. 6. Mark students’ work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of students’ progress and development. 7. Regularly communicate with parents and legal guardians regarding students’ progress and performance. 8. Keep students’ records up to date for progress reports. 9. Participate in demo classes and marketing activities to promote student recruitment. 10. Attend staff development days to improve your skills and receive help and feedback from colleagues. 11. Review curriculum needs, execute plans for improvement, and provide tutoring and additional support 12. Act as a role model - motivating and supporting in equal measure. 13. Attend school events to better understand student interest and personalities outside of the regular classroom, build strong relationships with your students and aid in the strengthening of their self-confidence while inspiring them to achieve high targets. 14. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by senior colleagues.

1. Native or near-native English-speaking competencies. 2. Minimum Bachelor’s degree with a major in an art-related field. 3. At least one year of teaching experience for A Level Art is preferred. 4. Able to work under pressure. Good presentation and teaching skills. 5. Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal competencies. 6. An ability to communicate effectively with students and other candidates of all age groups and social backgrounds. 7. Passion for teaching and with a high degree of dedication and professionalism, positive attitude and strong team spirit.
