Job responsibilities
1) Building connections with key stakeholders in international cloud-computing (SaaS, PaaS) and big-data companies in a broad spectrum of industry verticals. Identify, evaluate, and value partnership opportunities. 2) Analyzing market opportunities and creating strategies for new lines of businesses and business models that will drive revenue growth. 3) Developing and fostering strong long term business relationships across the globe as well as companies already in China. 4) Managing execution and contract compliance for deals to close. 5) International business travel is required sporadically throughout the year.
Job requirements
1) BA/BS degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business, or equivalent practical experience. 2) 7 - 10 years in sales, business development or strategic partnerships. 3) Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills. Extensive negotiation skills. 4) Acquired an ability to manage multiple deals at once with an eye towards cost and strategic value. 5) Exceptional communication skills and ability to formulate insights and opinions around complex business problems. 6) Self-directed, motivated and driven performer with exceptional multi-tasking abilities toward goal. 7) A strong team player that values the importance of the success of their overall group. 8) Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin fluently.
