Job responsibilities: 1. Support the development and implementation of internal communication strategies, activities, processes, and platforms to achieve the business goals of Shanghai Disney Resort; 2. Support and develop digital employee engagement platforms; 3. Collaborate with leadership and internal business partners to develop plans and effectively communicate strategic goals and initiatives to internal audiences; 4. Ensure that all communication is accurate, timely, and professional to support business needs; 5. Effectively and accurately complete tasks within the specified time; 6. Ensure that each promotional material complies with the guidelines for correct use of terminology, grammar, graphics, and names. Ensure that all promotional materials reflect laws and relevant guidelines; 8. Manage various activities related to Cast to meet the schedule of all activities, plans, and ancillary work. This position will provide support for the internal communication function of the public affairs and communication team at Shanghai Disney Resort. Successful applicants will assist in developing and executing various internal communication plans. Successful applicants will participate in all internal communication tasks. The applicant will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, primarily focusing on collaborating with various stakeholders and teams, managing and developing internal communication activities, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of English materials. The daily work scope includes but is not limited to supporting information development and review, editing and publishing management, supporting the Cast digital participation platform, managing Cast events, internal promotions, administrative communication, etc. This position will report to the Deputy Manager of the Internal Communication Department.
Job requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, preferably Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Media, Marketing, Liberal Arts, English or International Relations; - 5 years of relevant professional experience; - Native English speaker required; - Fluency in Chinese is preferred; - Extensive writing and editing experience in English; - Ability to coordinate and collaborate across different teams to implement communication strategies and plans; - Ability to identify, develop and communicate key messages to target audiences; - Strong customer service, influencing and negotiation skills; - High level of creativity in identifying unique channels, mediums and approaches to effectively communicate with and excite audiences; - Problem solving and conflict management skills; - Enjoys coordinating and collaborating with diverse teams to execute projects; - Strong interest in continuous process creation and improvement; - Ability to prioritise, multi-task and work effectively in a team-oriented environment; - Ability to work in crisis situations and handle projects requiring immediate delivery; - Experience working in a multinational organisation is preferred; - Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required; - Proficiency in publishing, graphic design, photo and video editing software preferred; - Experience managing and developing content for online and social media platforms preferred; - Flexibility in scheduling is required based on workload; may be required to work weekends, holidays, early mornings and late evenings.
